I bought a sony ex310 22 led tv.Now i have sent it back for a refund due to the horrible high pitch/whine noise coming from the speakers. When i mute the sound the high pitch/whine is gone. The Picture has no noise.

Is it normal for a LED tv to emit a faint high pitch sound.Should a LED tv be silent?

Plasma's a little high pitch buzz is regular. For an LED LCD, you really shouldn't be hearing any noise (even from the power supply) and especially not from the speakers. Bring it back.
