is it possible to become a moderator over time??

    hey if i obey the rules and use afterdawn alot is it possible to become a moderator???

    With the way this place is growing, they'll need ten more within a year to keep up. Ok, so maybe I am exaggerating, but yes openings do occur and members that stand out(in a good way) have the best chance.

    When I first joined here, Nephilim was a lowly AD Addict ;P

    who wants to be a moderator at aD? they are lonely people that gets paid peanuts for doing an excellent job. Plus you have to be a necrophilia ;P

    I wouldn't really want to become a Moderator. It seems to hold too many responsiblities, and with the current uprising of people who continue to visit this site as Newbies daily, you'd have a full schedule before you know it.

    I personally would look forward to having the option of having the "I Hate Titles" title instead.

    It's true that some of the Mods are necrophiliacs but at least I have geestar to get the bodies for me! darthnip on the other hand prefers to take his down personally - he's a purist ;)


    We've all been real busy lately! There's been a huge influx of worthless punks over the last couple months and it's caused my tolerance level to go way down in many cases.

    Well Neph does a great job as Mod and, I still don't see how he keeps up with everthing while staying level headed, great equalibrium.

    I had no idea that the mods received any remuneration at all but whatever it is it certainly can't be enough. Being the law enforcer is certainly a major task within itself but to also keep abreast/ahead of this rapidly expanding tech savvy forum must be enervating to say the least. I think I read where Neph works some ridiculously long hours separate and apart from his herculean contribution to AD(seeing that he's practically ubiquitous). Being a Mod is certainly something to aspire towards but I'm sure that it's no bed of roses.

    I know that that was said in ernest(considering the daily dose of idiots you deal with) and this is probably a solemn moment, but Darthnip's comment was hilarious. I concur that it was eloquently said,lol.
