Is it possible to upgrade the DWU14A to DRU510A?

    I've read that since the U14A is just the OEM version of DRU510A, you can upgrade the firmware of it to the DRU510A... how can I do this? Thanks for any help

    edit - nero also thinks its max write speed is 2x when it's really 4x... I'm hoping upgrading will fix that?

    Be carefull. I upgraded from a Sony DWU-14A firmware to a DRU510A to try and burn some new Infiniti 4X DVD-R I bought. Ended up still unable to burn them, plus now the drive will only burn CDR at 12x instead of 24x. Not happy :(
