Is it supposed to take this long?

    Does convertxtodvd also change a regular DVD movie file to an .avi file, ready for burning to a DVD +R?

    I'm using Nero 6 and it would take me at least 6 hours to convert that divX and burn it to disc at 8x.

    Do you think there is that much difference between Nero 6 and Nero 7, or is there something else causing so much extra time to be needed for the burn?
