you need to upload them to a free picture host site 1st heres a link to the one i use, just join and then you will be able to upload them. http://photobucket.com/ once uploaded all you need to do is once uploaded, click on them then copy and paste the url infomation between the [*img][*/img], but take the stars out when you do it otherwise the image wont be displayed. Also make sure you use lower case
I agree with most of the users on this subject: If you want nice looking cd/dvd's use printers like R300 PIXMA 4000 or 5000...LightScribe is funny yes, but it's not the nice's look, i think
qwik3r2, I take the CD/DVDlabel into Photoshop and fill in the hole and there is no problem. img/http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d173/tashacat/4Brothers.jpg/img I hope the picture show up.
tashacat: nope the pic didn't show up. gwendolin: I made the pic in photoshop from a background floating around on the web. I didn't have the hole in the middle in the picture originally so its not like it printed a hole, it just didn't print around the diameter correctly. Someone in another thread mentioned to me its because my verbatim is 119mm and the inner maybe different too that is why i am getting this damned white line and you can't adjust cdlabel print to print past 118mm, which is why i am wondering what you guys use. I was using nero cover designer until i uinstalled it for a previous version (7 was making cds skip) and it inadvertinatly uninstalled nero cover designer. I am wondering if that can be obtained on its own. .
@ tashacat the string you have isnt complete. 1.its not in brackets the words img, /img which it should be [*img][*/img], but i see you dont have this [*] which was the important thing to remove 2.did you join properly as the image is saying you arent hosting it anymore
I am trying to send a picture of a modified disc. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d173/tashacat/4Brothers.jpg Did it work this time???
yeah it worked, wheres the hole hehe? I got my discs to line up with countless trial and errors with a peice of paper over the disc and just trying again and again and again lol til success!
Gwendoline, after trying the Canon ip4000 USA and found the CD/DVD printer is not made in the good ol' USA I attempted to return it. They wanted a 30% re-stocking fee, all new Canon cartridges and of course shipping. I would end up paying them to take it back so I decided to keep it with my other 3 Canon printers. I did buy a new Epson R220 that prints on Cd/DVD and it works perfectly. I never dreamed that different countries would make them differently, I guess that I learned a lesson. Thanks for getting me on the right track on printing directly to CD/DVD's. tashacat, Casa Grande, Arizona
@Tashacat, glad to see you're up and printing good quality lables, as mentioned before try http://www.cdcovers.cc @ Qwik3r2, I suggest you try that site also.
gwendoline, thanks for the tip I am the one that gave you the http://www.cdcovers.cc website. I have been using it for a couple of years. I love it. I am using the Ty-Yuden 1x8 inkjet printable DVDs and they are working PERFECTLY on my equipment. The Ty-Yudens work the best of any blank media I have ever used. Buenos Dias
Tashacat the USA Canon IP 4000 you have is easily enabled to print on dvd's all you need is the tray about $20.00 off Ebay and push a few buttons on the front of the printer.I have both the IP3000 and IP4000 enabled to print disc.
paiger651, how do I do a search for it on Ebay? Would it be Canon IP4000 CD tray? That is great news. Thanks for the input!!!
Yes paiger651, please tell us how to modify our American made culls to enable it to print on DVD's. Where does this new tray go?
Yes paiger651, what kind of software do you use to print them? I tried on Ebay with several different phrases but I had no luck. I have the IP4000 and the IP6000 and the front is the same on both of the printers.
