My PC outputs video through a GeForce MX 4000, 128mb, integrated RAMDAC, into a HP mx70 monitor.

I want to use the card's S-video to output through my Sony KV36HS500 digital TV instead of the mx70 monitor.

    Will this hurt the card?

It should work just fine, just the case of setting it up right.
