    Hi,

I've got a connection to N*L, and I'm using a Starview2 box which is working great!

Since I have a connection, is it possible to get broadband? If so what would I need to do/get to get access to broadband?

My brother subscribes to N*L broadband, can I use his settings?

If someone could point me in the right direction it would be brill!!

Thanks again All, Great source of info!!

you cant get a dbox for broadband but there are some old type chipped modems which give you free internet. i used them 2 years ago for about 6 months. i didnt want to take the risk and stopped because it would be easy to trace the connection.

why would you want dodgy broadband when its so cheap to get it legally?

Ok theres a bit more to it than that but its not that difficult...

... not that I've ever done it ;)

I do agree that Broadband is pretty cheap nowadays but what about the download speeds?

Does anyone know of how to increase from say 2mb to the maximum (20mb) that N*L offer minus the financial contribution?

The only reason I use a starview is the cable charges would be horrendous. Broadband on the otherhand can cost less than £10 a month.
