I have a few GameCubes that I am wanting to sell and I was thinking of modding them and selling them. How many people here would buy a XenoGC 2.0 modded GameCube for $55 + shipping?

i for one would buy em both but dont have the cash at the minute as im saving up for my first car and my driving test :) hope i pass

but im gonna buy my car in the next week or so... that means i can purchase them in the time you would start selling em on here in the "sell you stuff forum"

PM me when you get em done :)

Okay, sweet, thanks for the response and good luck with your drivers test :). I just ordered 5 chips, one for me, one for a friend and three for the three GameCubes I want to sell. I'll let you know when I get the first one done.

I'm also very interested! PM me too or let me know your progress. :) I would rather pay that kind of money instead of tampering with the cube myself.

I dont' know much about gamecube modding. So i would be much interested in buying a modded gamecube for that price.

However, becuase I know nothing about it. I would be interested to know what exactly are the capabilities of this chip you would be putting in the cube.

My main and frankly only use would be to boot up a mini-dvdr disc with a gamecube iso aka a backup mini-dvdr. If this is possible with no modifications on my side. Then id be set.

Different color consoles would be cool to. Im interested.

This shows some features of the Xeno GC chip, and this is a comparison chart between different mod chips.

I believe the Xeno chip is the most affordable chip right now that allows you to play backups burned on mini dvds. Nothin' much more than that, i think!

As promised, I have an update. Today I modded two of them and I have one of those working reading burning games, the other isn't working correctly yet. I have two people on another site that were interested, I'll give them seven days to followup and if not I'll offer them to people here in the order you responded.

Now that I know I can do it, I'll definitely buy some more to mod. It's hard, but it's fun (for me at least). I just ordered five more XenoGCs and I'll try and find some GameCubes.

Yeah, shipping isn't going to be cheap though. It would cost $30 for Priority Mail or at least $20 for First Class. I don't know the exact weight so I can't get the exact cost of shipping.

Yeah, or you can wait until I have a used modded GameCube available and then it'd be $55 + $20 or $30.

V2 as mine blink an orange light when they are working correctly. The V1 chips blink a green led light.
