is this an mp3?

    hi everyone

    i'm new here, so be gentle with me......got a file which i downloaded as an mp3, but the file name is all over the place.....it's

    re-release of old bootleg stuff.eac.lame.206kbps.vbr.mp3.&.cue.bbt

    so what is it? i take it that some of that stuff is left from when it was ripped? how do i get it to play?

    Just a guess. It may be a compressed file that contains bin and cue files.

    Try changing .bbt to .zip and try to un-zip it.
    Try changing .bbt to .rar and try to un-rar it.

    If either of those things get you to the point you have bin and cue files then try this.
