is this legal??

I do not have the proper equiptment to put my motorola dvr videos to my pc is it okay for me to go to a website and download the exact same episode that i recorded as long as it is not a dvd-rip.

 

i believe not,i think its illegal because i know it is illegal to download a movie that you own or something like that. Depends on where you live too i guess.

 

its compleetly legal to dl anything, as long as you are JUST dling it, not uploading it, as in bit torrent. some claim this is illegal but it actualy isnt, so long as you dont know what your dling is copywrited material that is being distributed illegaly. the web is a vast ocean of material, its unreasonable for someone to asume that a person who is surfing the web will know all the illegal downloads from the legal ones.
