It Takes Me Waaaay Too Long To Burn

    Hello Everyone, Can someone please tell me whats the fastest way i can backup my movies. At the moment i have a 16x burner and a 12x reader and it takes me hours. What's the fastest way i can do this, i keep hearing that it could be done in minutes..how? whats the fastest burner and where can i get it?

    Fastest isn't better, but hours is way to long. Also, minutes?? I don't think so.

    It depends on your system, the programs your using, and the settings.

    I would first make sure DMA is enabled.

    Right click "my computer" -> properties -> hardware -> device manager -> ide ata/atapi controllers -> right click primary ide channel, then properties -> advanced tab. Make sure DMA is enabled, and current transfer mode is DMA if available. Do the same for secondary ide channel.

    any changes, reboot ... then recheck.
