I am having real problems as my ipod is not synchronising with itunes. When I connect it I get the do not disconnect message and it wont stop until the ipod is disconnected. The connecting cable is opk as I have been able to update the ipod software. What can I do or do I just need to throw it out of my window as I feel like doing

    Please save my sanity
    Thanks

    1. Try Resetting it by pressing & holding the 'menu' & centre buttons together for 6 seconds until the apple logo appears.
If you still have no luck,

    2. Restore it using the updater software, then you should be fine.

I have tried to restore my ipod but even though there is no music on the Ipod it is still displaying Do Not Disconnect. Grrrr

Do you have auto update enabled on your music library?
