I'v somehow labled my dvd disk drive to 'over the hedge' + cant undo it

    I just followed my own advice as a test, removed/uninstalled my DVDROM via Device Manager, rebooted and Windows found the hardware (DVDROM) , automatically installed the drivers. DVDROM shows up in My Computer, Nero, DVDDecrypter,ImgBurn. Reads discs fine.
