java problem

    right here goes,i got the same windows on both my pc`s,mce 2005,formatted,updated it,then put in my programmes,everything goin fine till i tried to install java

    so,,on other pc,i thought i would install java before i installed anything else,and it worked,so i need help here to find out what it is thats stopping my java from installing

    any help appreciated
