I have just downloaded 2 AVI movie clips and tried to join them with JFuse and its not allowing me to do this. After checking out the clips with AVI codec I noticed that the first AVI clip is 388 kbps(video) and the second 421 kbps(video). This is the only difference in the clips. Can anyone tell me whats the best way of going about joining these clips.

are you eventually (in the long run) going to convert them to mpeg?? if so convert them both seperatly then join them together when youve finished the conversion, this way the files will be identical and you wont have to worry about different bitrates ect ect...

the encoder you use will most probably have a mpeg joiner bundled with it

Yeah thanks Mick, I was eventually going to turn the files in mpeg2 for DVD using TMPGEnc. Cheers
