Send a pm to Fergusrb he is based in Kildare, but travels in and out to Dublin. Tell him I sent you over, he has done quite a few boxes and at a very reasonable rate.

Hi I see you are using a powered JTAG don't use the unpowered type it's easy and you don't have to solder any where other than the JTAG pads there are plenty of schematics for a non powered jtag if you want the one I used PM me and I will send it to you?

Hi now I'm showing I don't know everything? what is Chorus? All I know from experience that JTAG works well with the software on the forum and then using G4 So you first use the JTAG to restart the BIOS on the Starview box and when it lights up you use G4 to finally to get the Starview up and running again all the info is in the forum but I do have all the info so if you want it just ask ;as I did when I first started and no member bit my head off they will all work.

They only work on true cable with Ch****. If you have MMDS with Ch**** they will not work, as the Starview is a DVB-C decoder and Ch**** MMDS is DVB-T.

There is a new terrestrial Starview box coming very soon that will work with Ch**** MMDS. Or any other DVB-T type decoder will work.
