Jtag did not work for me

Other than lifting the chip and rewriting I am at a loss. I presume you have checked all caps and voltages?

i have used the sunrise jtag on a eurovox and flashed it with ufl_maxv_kuro3_10_04_08 only problem was the remote was now useless,had to use eurovox max remote (remember to use a short)

 

Could you please teach me how to do this sunrise JTAG

 

connect jtag and power up eurovox.start jkeys.click on development panel.click ok to ignore the warning.if all goes well you will get into the development panel.in the functions box type in the address 80000000,click on.load to...select the file unlock_28fxxxc3.bin.(the 900 and odd kb one and not the 2gb one)click trigger user close the current window,click on flash programming,choose the model number as dxd426rd (1 chip-gla)(all that last bit will be found in the IRD) in the section on the right,leave the box above set to full,click erase,select yes this will take a minute to do,click on program,select yes to program at address 0x7fe00000,size 0x200000?,choose your tsop file i used the leicester dump,sit and wait for the ok to become active,then click it,close jkeys and power down the box (pull lead out)disconnect your jtag,power the box,and all has gone well then it should boot up 0000 and ready for rescan

Sky max will not reganise the box at all

Are you using the correct TSOP file?

 

yes i am using blue tsop file..
but how come when i typed in 80000000, load to unlock_28fxxxc3.bin than click trigger user it shows error and it doesnt erase

 

Power the box down and run SkyMax v2.2
Power the box up.
Press start.

This seems to reset the box when JKEYS cannot connect (DCU errors).

Close SkyMax and start JKEYS and try again.

I never asked you did you make the Jtag kit or did you buy it?

 

I bought the jtag from ebay when i bought i got a capictor, instructions software on cd

and skymax doesnt work at all doesnt reganise box

Always found these ribbon cable type to be quite troublesome. Presume you have pin 1 lined up correctly on the SV header. I always recommend these ones http://www.tailor-madecircuits.com/...id=32&osCsid=5cbc6dce464dec83d198de0d0f271a61
