just a simple question

    just a simple question...i dont know where to ask this question so i created a new one...forgive me

    -if the mobo can only support up to DDR2 800, can you used a DDR2 1066 Ram on it?

    The 1066mhz memory will run just fine. It will run at the speed selected in your BIOS, which in your case would be 800mhz.

    It will run at DDR2-800(as jazbebies said) because that's the most your motherboard supports. Unless you have a motherboard which can overclock memory. I have 2 DDR2-1000 sticks of RAM and my motherboard was running them at DDR2-800, so I simply overclocked them to their normal speeds. So see if your motherboard can do that.
