just a simple ?

    ok if i got a soft modded xbox with a 200gb hdd could i take that hdd out and put it into a non modded xbox and it will be modded along with everything else that was on it

    no it wont work the hdd the you have now is locked to that one xbox by the eeprom. if you wanted to switch it to another xbox you have to rebuild the hdd with hdmanager but it would lose all info.

    OR.. you could dump the eeprom data from the other box (a couple of methods.. easiest is to softmod the original drive in that then ftp the key WITHOUT unlocking the drive!!!) then lock the big drive to the new xbox eeprom .. BUT .. make sure you get the eeprom data from the large drive box as well.. that way you can always revert or get another drive for that one...(or even then unlock and lock the small drive to it and keep it for whatever purpose.. like ripping disks)

    think outside the box and everything is good.. ask numb questions and you get nowhere.. this is a 5+ year obsolete console we are talking about.. what more is there to say except "Afterdawn.. please shut down these pointless sections!!"
