Now what do i need in terms of wires, spliters etc ? I will have the modem upstairs and i want the cable downstairs so i presume i need a long wire ? but what type ? Also when i plug the dreambox in, what else do i need in terms of software , flashing, etc ??
you need coaxial cable i think and you just split it with a regular spliiter.you should find all the answers in the forums.you need an image and you will prob have to ftp to insert cams
can I just say, would it not have been wise before you invested in a dreambox you should have done a bit of research - so you knew what to do with the box once you got it. as for your question, go to wwww.hackable.cc for information on the Dreambox with images you can flash to it.
