Alright, so I charge the camera overnight, turn the thing on and it won't get power...no matter what. I think it is the battery on it, anyone know? If model number is a necessity, I can give it. Thanks.

I had the same thing happen to a JVC GR-D30 I have, it was not the battery. I sent it in to the JVC Factory service center in Woburn MA and they fixed it right up, they had it less than a week.
