I have a modded Xbox. The other day I tried to play Knights of the Old Republic. It says it can't read the disk. I take it back to the store and the guy says that KOTOR has some code on it that detects mods. BASICALLY: Is this true? Is there any way I will ever play KOTOR?

Just for the record, mine works too.... I wonder if he may have been talking about the flag that tries to determine whether the game is being run from the DVD drive or not???? But, he's probably just a BS artist.

Thanks for the help guys, I'll try a disk from a different store. But consider this: my version is the PAL version (I live in Australia) so it might be different from yours.
