Hi All, this is my first post, I've been looking at this site for the last two weeks as my channels on my S*arview3 Slowly started to dissappear. From what i've read i've taken a chance that i will get at least a few months out of a new K*yptviewA750, So i ordered one but it says that the k*yptview only comes with free to air channels decoded, Can some1 in the know fill me in on how to get the subscribe channels decoded, is it simalar to s*arview3 the box super?
Any help greatly appreciated, Also thanks in advance.

Da1mig when you get your box you will need to put the latest firmware on it, it is the 19032009 fix and it can be found in Eamos library along with a guide to help you through the whole setup.

Thank you Hiteck, From looking at this site you seem to know alot about these things, I'm a complete novice and have now only started looking for answers as my channels dissappear. I take it i download the file upload it on to a usb Memory stick, then there is obivously a port on the kryptview to upload the new info, or have i got it completely wrong

    Hi!

Was thinking of getting a kry**view box to replace my st*rview. Can anybody advise whether it is worth my while? In Dublin area, and channels disappearing by the day. Is it likely that kry**view box will suffer the same fate as st*rview, or should I hold onto my current box in the hope that a fix might emerge? I'd be really grateful for any advice.

Hiteck, Thank you, you are a life saver, Just one more question. The RS232 cable?, will this be provided with the Kryptview, or is this something i will have to purchase, if so any reccomendations on where i can purchase such a cable. Once again your help is greatly appreciated in this matter.

Usually supplied with the box, you will hve to see the packet content from which ever website you buy it from.

If you buy the box from HERE you will see in the description that it comes with the box otherwise buy one from ebay, make sure you buy a Null Modem Cable.

Afraid that no-one can give you the answer that you are obviously wanting, the only answer at the minute is YES the Kryptview will untimately suffer the same fate as and when they switch off N2 and go fully to N3 (fair play to them for getting a temporary fix out though) - so it's a case of hoping it is later rather than sooner. As regards holding off you have to make your own decision, but never say never.
