I have a digibox a700c arnet and have flashed it. It only has a few channels, anyone suggest how I can get more?.

 

whatis the difference between firmware dated 28/11/08 and 29/11/08 for the Kryptview.Found Firmware on another forum .Fle is dated 29/11/08

 

There is only one fix.

 

bellair try tuning using another area.
I use Birmingham and get nearly all channels.

Thank you, I messed around and got the channels by going to network and auto searching.
I find its an ok box, whats leaving it down for me is the catgories do not work the same as on the starview,, ie. sport, factual, movies all are blank, meaning I have to scrool the all cat section. I'm down south Ireland way.

Can anyone help, my Kryptview box went haywire and ive done a factory reset and tried to download the firmware but it keeps telling me that downloading is not requested. What am I doing wrong ive read the instructions on using the loader etc.

 

Steve59, I had the same problem, I just change ports and it worked.

 

Tried that and didnt work, when I connect the box to the pc windows searches for a driver but cant find one. went into com ports and noticed com 1 was in use so changed to com 2 then it said com 2 in use either way couldnt download, am I doing something wrong.

 

Steve 59, well what I did is change the ports manually, ie the rs232 lead into the different ports on the side or back of your pc/laptop.

 

if you can try it on a diferent pc. I flash quite a lot and unbelevable as it may seem some boxes are choosy as to what they will work with, Or you could try pulling out the power cord from the box while the pc is searching, this sometimes sorts it.

Hi guys,I have the a700 aswell, thanks for all the info on this site. I just have one quick question about which cable i need. in the instruction its called a rs232 but in other threads on this site it says this is the wrong cable and i need a null modem cable, i only have usb ports available on my laptop. Any help would be apreciated.
