kryptview a 780 replacement

    Hi all could someone please give me some advise on a replacement for my box , I have a kryptview a780 which has gone off yet again ,, is there a box out there which will give me sly TV sports Ext ext ,, I have a 100 meg virgin internet NO TV just the internet and the phone . I have read all the posts on here regarding cable boxes but still a bit lost all I really want is a box the same as my kryptview a780 which works ie no monthly payment just buy the box flash it Ext ext and it works , or have them days all gone now .. if any one could advise me on this please oh please could you message me or post on here where I can get such a box ..... Ps I've had my kryptview box for over 5 years so I can do flashing Ext many thanks to ever one for reading my post ,, fingers crossed I may get the perfect box for me thanks

    those days are long gone,the service you are thinking of now comes with a price tag but with hd now.plenty of excellent enigma2 receivers to look at.

    and for roughly £50.00 a year for full sub including hd you can't grumble

    Thanks you for the reply ,, so are we taking dreambox are the way to go ,, if so where can I order one from and how do you pay and who do I pay to get the channels is there a step by step guide anywhere any help would be great just a bit lost a the moment thanks you

    ive got the Amiko Mini Combo, basic box, not enigma 2 but does what i want it too, paid £150 for the box and a years sub on both sides, cant fault it

    hi i to have 2 a780 boxes that keep glitching is there a box to replace them without having to fit a sat dish

    ok so thinking of buying a new box with a sub can someone pm me with where i can buy a box and a sub also is it easy to set up as been lazy with the 780s and sat back just watching without following all the latest gossip

    Guy like chocco thinking of getting new box looking at the zgemma vs2 with sub , if anyone has one of these might give some pointers as to pros and cons , thanks in advance guys

    zgemma boxes cannot run genuine vix images as its not supported and if updating online is a no no.

    Cheers for the info cactikid been out of the loop for a while with the boxes , had a skybox 5 a while back , came across the zgemma because it had andriod,plus sat with sub , if you can recommend a box , be mighty grateful cheers. .....

    so you want a good cable box single tuner,recording ? if yes twin cable tuner and internal hdd.
    linux boxes are enigma2 and open sourced [ can run any image ]
    vu,xtrend,miracle box for a start.

    Cactikid checked out the boxes you posted the miracle box looks the job the spec says premium mini+ hd combo (1+dvb-3 s2 hybrid -c/t/2, don't understand most of that also asks for options of firmware it says enigma 2 firmware image options flashed free of charge or can choose one of these ,

    Can you tell me which is the best , also in Ireland if that makes any difference
    Ps can a sub be put on this box , thank for help and patience .........

    Chocco I think the box you are looking for is what tongs posted above , the amiko mini combo basic , Google the box with sub , I reckon should sort you out .
