Just did all that, still nothing. If I can get the box to show 0000 I can hopefully do all the rest but for some reason it just doesn't show up. The laptop says that the cable is working properly.

 

We bought two boxes by accident so I tried the other one and that is working now. I don't know what is wrong with the first box. Thanks for the help lads!!

 

Hook the dodgy one up to the TV, do a factory default & try it again.

Will try that, at least I know how to do it now. However, most of the channels are missing from the working box. I tried frequencies posted in another topic but only 315.00 works, everything else says failed. The firmware is up to date aswell. Powerscan is on too.

 

Nevermind, I was messing around with it and I got the channels, thanks again!!

 

Got my new box installed , anyone notice the channel numbers are over the place Rte1 is now channel number 2099, can someone send me a link to a new remote control, can i just say the ones that come with the unit are awfull really bad

Make sure you are using the 19/3/09 firmware on your box

checked it appear to be using correct firmware, anymore ideas with solutions , thanks again in advance

 

did u try a factory reset and fresh scan with no splitters?

 

When you done your auto scan and got the next option, Did you pick legacy channels, or upc if you picked any other option than legacy, you will need to factory default and start again.

Hi All,
I have just got my 2nd kryptview box this weekend but the picture keeps breaking up on all channels and I keep getting "scrambled or no video" message popping up & the picture just freezes every 2-4 seconds. I have tried it on two points with no spiller, the other box works fine just not this one. Any idea anybody or it just a faulty box.

take the other box off the cable, and put that box in it place, and see does it still do the same thing,also what is the signal and quality. ??

 

change from pal to ntsc mate worked for me button on remote or goto settings
