I put the box in it place but still the same.How do i find out the signal & quality?

maybe try a fresh flash and wait for box to reboot before u un hook,and u are using the latest firmware yes? should have said factory reset first,after u flash rescan ur provider.

 

Did all that reloaded firmware factory reset & rescan no change picture just breaking up and same message. The firmware is the same as the other box that is working.

Kryptview is now not the only box out there that works here in Ireland, The Box Super USB now also works, I saw one in opperation earlier today, know nothing about the software or where to get one. Just thought it was interesting to see something else work.

 

problem is it is not 100% working but a number of channels dont work and if u have a clone and put the 1.10 firmware u will brick it.

 

I have a kryptview and borrowed a SV4, both are working fine except for setanta 2 and celtic tv. Anybody got any ideas why this is?

 

Ordered my kryptview the other day so cant wait to get it up and running. Dont have a 9 pin serial socket on my laptop so think i need to get a usb cable. I also have vista on my laptop. Judging by a few posts earlier vista and the usb option seem to cause a few problems in downloading the software??? Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Is there a channel download for Dublin for this box or do I just go the normal route with a scan?

 

yep all you have to do is scan the box.

auto scan, then next window you will see your provider, just pick your provider, and touch no other settings and press the green button.

next screen you will get after this, will have your areas if you are on N** choose legacy channels, and then press ok, then just leave it and it will do the rest.

My God there are some clowns out there cueless.

 

When you have them on, if you put the box in standby at night,it will scan any new ones in automatically, only box that does that

 

After having many fruitful years in this game (wink) I don't actually have cable anymore m8, motorised dish now only. Got the box for the birds parents.

Things are slowing up on sat though too. Good to see a genuine guy helping out "Risktaker" - hope the game stands up for a long time.

hi guys wen you hit the download button for the software TURN the box off at the back... there is a button just flick it off and flick it back on again and the software will start to download then
