check what your signal and quality level as mickah said, maybe a booster box might help or it could be your cable fixtures at each end.?

    hey u again,
    thanks lad,
il tell you were im at, my neighbour flashed my box last night with his computer(vista)
it said it was a successful download. when i hooked it up to tv easy installaton pops up.(all good so far)

all the correct options are in place, 6.887, 64 qam, channel 1, network and so on.
when i search 7 TPs come up saying already exist, im going round in circles.
im giving no other options as in areas to pick.
so i put it down to a bad download fron the vista comp. thats why i was going to reload off of my xp.

    hope this makes sense.
    thanks

Press Main menu, then installation( Password 0000 ), then manual search.

Scroll down to frequency and imput frequuency & yellow button to start search. Each freq one at a time it will take about 20mins in total to sort out.

How'ya smarty. What firmware have you on? As hooter said the latest fixes the auto scan problem. Also what area are you in , and relax there's plenty here that will help you get this sorted.

Thanks for that, thats one place I would not have checked that area, shalll do in future, mind the latest Kryptview boxes seem to have fixed the remote problem, the signal works prefectly and the response time is also very good.

    Thanks again for the pointer

    Clive
