What springs to mind here is why Ireland? Why is Sky (if all the talk is true) pushing hard on EN-TEA-HELL clan to switch to N3? Look at it this way. The UK cable firms are still on the older version - the boxes work fine and dandy. Several million cable subscibers in the UK.
Then you have lovely old Ireland - with a few hundred thousand subscribers - tiny in comparison......why aren't Sky pushing the UK down the same track - or is it just that the UK is bigger and its harder for sky to do ths - so they pick on poor old us over here?
Once again the ROI isn't for our sweet Republic of....more a case of Rip off.....

no def not,, have enjoyed many hrs of fab tv over the yrs thanks to this site,, but being in denial over the roll out of n3 by some people on this site is laughable,, believe me if a fix comes out for n3 on whatever box ,,, new or old i will be one of the first to get it,,, but i think il be getting my pension 1st,,,,.

 

hey folks I just discovered that if connect your old eurovox to your cable and then connect your kryptview to the old eurovox then connect your tv to the kryptview' bugger all happens !

 

That's because you need to connect a Replay Lite between the Eurovox and the Kryptview LOL!

have you tried the cable to the kryptview, then the eurovox to the krypview and the tv to the eurovox then ?

 

main coaxial feed into kryptview and scart to tv.

 

ive tried all the above, what if i put 2 knitting needles up my nostrils and my underpants on my head at the same time ?

lmao lads.btw my m8 just got a kryptview in post today and i tryed scanning it for him and no joy it fails each time on tp search.i have done a few krypts before and never had this problem.any1 got any ideas.i have the latest firmware on it for ireland and i know about n3 but that shouldnt have anything to do with it.

 

when you put the latest firmware on did you do a factory reset, then when you are scanning in for channels make sure the cable is in the correct input, after that then do your instilation, automatic scan
eg:Network[OK] = n*l
channel search type = network

also are you sure you flashed with the latest firmware
