you have got to switch the power on the box just after u go to install the the software,had the same prob myself, try this
Just to close my bit off - hopefully! Received an email from mycablebox on Tuesday telling me to return my equipment and they would provide a replacement. I sent it on Wednesday, it would have arrived with them on Thursday/Friday and they sent me replacement equipment on Friday afternoon. I picked it up from the Royal Mail depot today, used the tutorial on e45's sig block to set it up and within 30 mins max I was up and running. The new box and remote work wonderfully! Hopefully it will remain that way.
