Does the Kryptview A780 have a built in hard drive to record on? & do I have to keep my lap top connected while watching TV? & will it work on cable I don't have sky?.
kv does not have a hard drive but you could use a vcr or dvd recorder,the box needs a live cable feed and a lan cable from box to router/modem to work. uk only not irl.
hi lost quite a few channels on my kryptview,sky sports news,sky living the list goes on are the servers having a few problems at the moment or do i need to put new software on the box? any help would be appreciated thanks

hmmm i did see a kv post somewhere and he lost his channels,when their end went down lol,and he has a dtt box with those channels,in n.irl so he says lol

Kryptview is free m8, all you pay for is your box and your box is still working is it not ??, you could have paid 100 quid for a SV, and now be paying to receive the channels and they dont have them all either m8, so what is your point, even after getting 6mts out of the box you are still quids in.
£140 of my earned cash mate, thats my point i didnt get it as a gift, it cost me £140, thats my point its not free, nothing is for free, u should know that mate
what have you saved in subs in the last 6mts, if you had not bought it i bet you would have paid a lot more in subs than the box cost you, so works out it has paid for itself and still is that is all im saying.
ok mate, u are entitled to your opinions, perfectly fine to be honest i got the kv as a backup for my blade, i guess the real test will come in couple of weeks time for both kv and sv, as i watch loads and loads of footy.
Im in belfast and Im getting rte1 rte2& tg4 which is an Irish language channel + all the ones e45 listed
