This is for the Starview 7 unit if you dont want to use it dont when you get cut off it might be to late to update to it i would say v1.03 is the last working file that will be made for the starview 6 as the box has been replaced now by the Sv7

Have answered your PM. If you used a splitter on TV cable make sure connections are done
properly as sounds like you have weak signal

    Carling 1.04 is latest firmware for SV7;
    http://www.4shared.com/file/S0VZiPwl/CARLING-104.html?
Disconnect LAN-cable from box & do a fac. reset. Flash 1.04 firmware to box & re-scan for
channels.Re-connect LAN-cable to box. New firmware will not solve freezing problems if cable
    signal is too weak.
Post back with signal levels & source of cable connection as you said earlier you had no cable provider at your location

    Hi All,

I am getting alot of freezing lately but it is only really during footie games.

Wondered if anyone else is having the same problem and knows why? Is there anything i can do to improve the interruptions?

I am routing via home plugs

    Cheers

Check all TV prov cables & connections are OK. Hit info button when watching channel & check
Signal strength & signal quality levels. Freezing is usually caused by weak signal. If you are
not paying TV package signal may be weak

SV6. Thanks for the advice. I take it the server gets overloaded?
KV box's seem to be suggested as better would that be a fair assumption?

    Thanks again

It is an whole different ball game now, and the only advice for them boxes is throw them in the bin, they are now useless despite what anyone might say. Have a look/read the threads regarding your options.

Have a look at KRYPTVIEW-A780, Ddigital-Duo, Euroview HD or Starview 7
Once you have cable & broadband connections all of the above will work
