    I read also on DK thats its comming on in bits tonight or early tomorrow.Have to do a update via lan first

    lets put it this way if u can't do the update, then its not on for you. I assume the update is done via the cs server. We shall see tonight. If they do come back on hopefully they'll have bust proof system, probably with some sort of vpn that prevents snooping by virgin. Hopefully virgin won't target the end user and start prosecutions in the hope it deters others.

    Well after my A780 went down decided to fire up the the SV7 again but it appears to have lost its operating system... is there a way to re-flash the SV7 via the RS232 port? I tried using GTV loader but it wont work as it only gives you the option to load .bin files and not .ups files - suppose it would work if I actually had the original SV7 .bin file and then try to load the .ups file via the USB once the operating system is back up and running

    but I do not have the bin files - can anyone help as I currently have two expensive door stops and no cable - good job the satellite dreambox is working!

    Perth, sorry, just turn the Krypt box off and also reset the router, should be a small reset hole on it, use a pin or something small to hit the button, once done, turn both the box and router back on, make sure all the cables are in the box and into the router, the chans should start coming in, like the sports ones and some kiddies chans
