    correct thats the way they attach the ethernet to the net from box

    I suggest the Krypt reason why ?? better support been running going on 8mts now on n3 in the Uk down once for 20 mins then now down for maintainence 90% are working and more back today rest monday and support for there older A750 box

    can anyone tell me well the new starview 7 work in northern ireland before i buy one as none of the other euroboxes work anymore

    help would be very greatful

    Hi E45, saved the firmware file to my docs but won't let me open it, comes up with internet explorer has stopped working and then reason DEP(data execution prevention)

    you dont open it, you download it to your desktop and then drag to the USB stick

    no worries, just follow the flashing guide for the SV6, its basically the same, its in E45 sig links on his posts

    ive just purchased a sv7 set it all up the same as the sv6 but it keeps losing the lan conection on the scrambled chans the wires must be ok as it comes on intermitently anyone know whats up please

    down to your connection on the lan change the lan connection and make sure you are running it from the router

    it is going to the router its a new 5m lead i got from maplin cant understand it was on for about 5 hours last night

    maybe their server is down it does be up and down all the time so you will just have to wait and see if that is the problem

    thanks i found the problem i went to menu options network then net applications and it was set to not in use so i set it to ustream i did have it on that but i done a factory reset and rescan and it must have reverted to not in use i will remember this in future all on again now hope this post is helpful to others doing a factory reset

    The box should include a RS232 to Lan dongle and yes it is to be connected 24/7 to your Router

    The box should include a USB to Lan dongle and yes it is to be connected 24/7 to your Router
