    Hi

can someone help please. i have just got hte starview 7 box, having trouble with the physical setup. I have Virgin Media, the VM bable that comes in from outside currently does into a black modem they provided, that then toccnect to a netgear router, and my PC's connect via ethernet to the netgear.

how do i connect up the starview box. if i connect the VM cable from outside to the starview box, then connect the Starview to netgear via ethernt, i wont have any interent as the black modem has no feed going to it. Anyone have any ideas.

you will have to split your feed since you dont pay for a cable feed but dont expect miricles signal wise when you do this.

If as you say you have a router in place then you should only need a mini ethernet hub attached to the router and use the RJ45 ports for your SV and pc.

Get yerself a good quality cable splitter, cheap ones are not worth the money - Maplins or any electrical supplier do them

    Hi,

I apologise for asking this for what has probably been about the thousandth time on here but I have a simple question.

My understanding is that the Starview 6 and 7 currently worked using cs in Ireland (I know about needing to connect it to a router)

However on several posts, e45 has said that no boxes work in Ireland at the moment.

So does the Starview 6 or 7 work in Ireland using CS?
