Hello I received my unit this week with the same problem with the remote control, you have to dig your nail into the buttons to make them work and this makes it very slow to change channels. I have purchased a new remote on my suppliers web site to see if the new one is any better. I will contact them and see if there is a history of this problem and see if there is a replacement program in place for the remote control, Regards.

Yes remote is quite bad. after reading other threads it would appear that you have to be VERY firm with the buttons lots of people have replaced with the purchase of a second which seems to be better, but don't expect miracles. Flea bay is the cheapest i think!

Done another scan using direct feed, no change. Flashed a previous firmware from the archieve, still no change. It's driving me crazy now! Throughout this the eurovox still working fine. Any help please!

All sorted guys thanks very much for the input. Read a previous thread where Scouser(I think) suggested/advised trying to scan with the broadband disconnected and low and behold all channels now visible. Thanks again!

I agree with some of your points, but all on here give their time and experiance freely and for no reward, for a company to list here and other places as support, reeks of shite in my book, if they were contributing to the running of the sites or help with the hosting costs they listed, thats different, but to sell a box, keep full profits and then send em here or other places, well its free customer support, what company gets that!

Glad ye up and running mate

My sentiments exactly MICKAH. For reference Skyw**der supplied by box and did not include the forum. Well done them.

Regarding my query on the other forum re signal breakup, I did a direct connect to NTHell and still get significant break up on the KV whereas my MaxV is perfect on remaining stations - Gold+1, Film4+1 NickRep etc.

Any ideas? Would a signal booster help?
    Thanks to all.

Thats cause Skywonder offer their own forum and back it up or so I heard somewhere.............

Factory reset the box, re-scan again and see if this helps,

Yep, I think it's www.cable-closet.com but when I looked it is not the easiest to navigate! Far better info here.

Disconnect your providers box and go direct feed to the Kv that should work, why would you need the other box connected as well, dont make any sense to me.

    Hi e45
I am not using 2 boxes - merely comparing reception quality on both. I have the original N*L direct cable with no provider box just my new KV which as mentioned is not providing as good an output as my Eur*v*x
Did you find cable-closet useful or was it my reference to the supplier link that you dispute?
