would be helpful if someone in the know said if it was getting sorted/fixed or not. then could add it to other doorstops.
Yep bin them and then pay full price for your sub great idea or as someone has suggested get a Sat Box and move to sat and then pay for a line, yep some days are good some not so good but you are getting the service for free so you cant really complain now can you !!
some days are good? its been pretty bad for at least 2 weeks and some of those days have been unwatchable. we all appreciate that its a lot cheaper in long run, but the get a sub attitude doesn't really attract custom does it.
Neither does the moaning either its a simple answer pay for a full sub or stick with it, vermin have been doing upgrading works for months so until they are fully finished you can expect that, if people cant put up with it sell the box and go sat side.
if they get a good server then no. and they will be getting a far better choice of channels channs like setanta ireland, box nation, view asia ect ect and far more hd channels. the list is endless and of course you dont have to stick with uk sat if you dont want to!!
i get glitching on the sat and that is from the lan bloody buffering, even the pc and lappy take slightly longer to load pages not happened for weeks then 5 times yesterday,it happens but got used to it .
Get yourself a cable TV variable 0-20dB signal attenuator with F plug type connectors and plug it in-line. Find a really badly glitching channel and adjust the screw by a quarter of a turn. Wait for 3-4 minutes and repeat if necessary.
Have to agree with e45, the system is free, no subs, there has been a lot of work going on, across various regions in the UK the last few months, if you have ruled out your cabling and its down to VM etc, its a case of either accept it or get rid and pay for sat, The fact is, there is glitching on sat to regarding shares, some more than others, nothing is 100% perfect unless its a pvt share and then you still could have issues etc, Thats the nature of it,
DOWN AGAIN Is there a chance they are trying to sort the glitching problem out[clutching at straws or what?]
