Has anybody else had the scart port fail or begin to fail on their box?

My picture is all blue washed but if i move the scart lead within the socket the picture improves and then drops back again

The scart socket is and always was slightly loose. Should I bother opening the box and messing about with it or resign it to the bin

Well if you are going to bin it why not open it up and try repair or replace it?

I take it you have replaced the scart lead before dumping anything? If the box is less than a year old, have you contacted the supplier for a replacement, if they offer a guarantee, before opening anything or you could void,

£2.99 scart lead ,better off using a good quality with the grabbers for staying inserted into unit.
