Thanks to MICKAH, Karl, Hooter etc, I got my new KV 750 up and runnng this morning. Fro reference Hooter got the download sequence on the button and the rest was as per the excellent idiot's guide to the galaxy!!

One problem though, I'm N*L in Dublin 14 and getting seriuos breakup of signal whereas my Euro MaxV was fine on the remaining channels (Gold+1 etc) - is this a KV problem or due to conditions following last nights storm - any ideas?

Again thanks to all the dedicated memners, addicts etc who've kept us simple folk form the claws of U*C.

could be, if you have a splitter on the cable at all remove it, but could be just a;prob with your signal coming in

to be honest, I've always had 7 feeds running from the incoming N*L via boosters and all good- except recently BBC2, C4 and sometimes Discovery.

I had 2 Euro MavV2008's and straight analogue on the others which were perfect also. So hopefully it is a meteorological problem

wont be the first or last to do that, the direct peeps to various sites as the thing about these boxs is their is a support group like this and other sites where sellers send people to, saves them having to answer questions about what the sold. which seller done that I wonder?

A disgrace if you ask me

what type of software did you put on the one you should have on is 19032009 if you dont have that software on it some times the remote wont respond try reflashing it and then follow hitech or karljd guide on the previous page.

when you see the easy installation look to the bottom auto scan

press ok to that then select your provider on top and touch nothing else then PRESS GREEN BUTTON ON REMOTE
then next screen pick your area if you are in dub choose legacy channels top item then press ok and let the box do the rest

Then you should get a choice legacy is for ntl dub

its the kryptview a750 also there are 3 other boxes that work in dublin at the moment
you can get 1 in the market in dub 8 for a rip off price get 1 from a supplier in the uk, cableboxes, or bubble boxes.
