yep your box should be on a direct feed other wise channels will drop of due to lack of a good signal i suggest you get a booster for your cable

not the same. cable works off frequencies just short of 1ghz. satellite goes up to 2.4ghz. so make sure when you check the spec that the frequency range you need is covered.

ok, would be interesting to know whats actually the cause..

as maintainance doesnt seem to fit the situation anymore?

seems more like a server problem, possibly a sharing problem etc.

to me i read a thread not too long back, stating how much data can be used from and it will be limited soon by virgin..

maybe this is the case? slowly this method could be dieing?? (possible)

glad ive not bought one before now.. would be ok if they die now and people had atleast 6 months out of it ... anything less is pathetic...

would be nice if the kryptview can pull there finger out and let there "loyal customers" know what the crack is.. obviously thats not going to happen as they need to dish out the rest of the boxes they have made??

the box has been running for 8mts without a problem so as you can see there is a handfull of channels missing which im told will be sorted and is defo not a server prob if it was all the other channels would also be off which they are not

How many probs had starview got when they started ?? lots so considering krypt been working for the past 8mts with no probs apart from a few missing crappy channels all the major ones are working sport movies so im sure people are not really bothered but i have been told it will be sorted so im told so lets wait and see and as you dont have a box your not a loyal customer so you have nothing to worry about but lets see who has the last laugh and i bet you will end up buying one as well LOL

your signal is far to high 88% 75 /80% is perfect i suggest you put an atunuator on your cable to bring it down that is why you are having the freezing etc

e45 the rant wasnt necessary.. you know ive been interested in a a780 as ive pm'd you in the past and we've spoke on occasions..

i am just putting a point across which can be discussed and you go defending them and chucking starview in the mix.

ive never even bothered looking at starview since kryptview came along- so i cant comment on them, and of what ive heard off u plenty of times there w4nk, so i wouldnt bother looking at them anyway!

im just interested to know why its having these problems and it was so called only maintainance.. the question wasnt directed at you.. it was at anyone who knows the answer?
