    living channels and history channel and mtv rocks are still off but i can deal wae that

    Ok well hopefully its an area problem as not a server issue now is that freq 419 by any chance ??

    If you physically missing channels from the EPG then its down to an incorrect scan Either you've used the wrong NetId or signals on certain of your transducers are either too weak or possibly even too strong to be received correctly You may need to scan connected directly to the feed (no splitters) to maximise your signal or possibly add attenuators if your signal is too strong. Unfortunately the symptoms are similar for too weak and too strong so you need to sort this problem for yourself.

    btw, VM do move channels around especially once an area drops the N1 stream so a complete factory rescan is sometimes necessary Also DONT assume your area is still on the same NetId as it used to be Quite a few areas moved NetId locations when they went to N3 !!!

    subbed box : go into engineers menu = hold down UP+DOWN when powering on

    Gained some and lost some .Had Q back yesterday but that has gone racing is back on Gold came back but has gone again.
    Leeds area...

    They where there yesterday just scanned again maybe they will come through good signal everything else is fine.

    yep but if there is nobody else having probs its down to your settings scanning on split feed or wrong Net Id

    Cheers e45 I have the right net id cause I have a proper virmin box and it tells you the net I D.
    I will give everything a go.

    make sure you do a full factory default on your box switch off at the back then back on rescan wait till the full list of Net Id come up before jumping on to the first ones also make sure you scan on DIRECT FEED ONLY NOT SPLIT

    Done all e 45 the channels are there but scrambled no video.77% signal so not sure what the problem is.

    check your net connections reboot the box and see will that work

    you did scan on NETWORK ??

    If you have the majority of channels dont bother rescanning all the time.If you are missing the odd one, it is the same for everyone. Just wait and hope they come back on.I also had GOLD earlier, but it is now missing.
    Lets be honest, if you are going to rescan every time you lose a fekin channel you must have more time on your hands than me.( maybee as much time as E45 )

    Ok so I think they maybe come and go and maybe I am a bit fussy and I and I also have gold on my proper vermin box so why bother I only got it for the footy mainly.

    What a lot of folk need to mindful with these boxs, you now have another added part that can go wrong, the net, now that oould be the serv, your bband provider, your relying on this part to work for the boxs to be 100%.

    Before you had just the provider and you, if something happened or went down, now you have the providers cable service, your internet connection, its router and modem, homeplugs and also the serv which the box connects to in the mix, so if your getting 95% of the service on any of these boxs, i would be happy with it as you will experiance some sort of issues along the way, due to any of the above,

    A total loss of the chans is one thing, missing or two at a time, doesnt constitute a national panic,

    The goalposts have changed with these boxs and this is the price you will have to pay to stay with the game,

    Yes I agree with you on that one had the eurovox before wich I thought was a better box.So we just have except what we get.

    well here is a new one...got a box that will update off the sw/update but wont clear chans...
    solution i think is that the main guy(nameless....lol yes e45 pm me the first letter of his christian name to confirm...lol) has not reg that box for server...you'll see a code for each box so no one tries to pirate codes over etc.
    so in short...if your chans are all scrambled...then check to see if sw/update works..if if does..you have net connection and the box id is not been put on serber..contact your supplier to activate
