    You will have to wait for a response from people on here who seem to be in the know. But in my
    feeble opinion will not be on Kryptvu, Starvu, or Ddigital boxes unless servers pay for it.
    The last PPV boxing event was on all boxes because it was not encrypted to Nagra 3. I doubt
    providers will make same mistake again.

    im sure the boxing will be on as they paid for it the last time so you can take it it will be

    can any one help my kva780 box after few days seem to lose all channels then i have to rescan set my favs block channels getting a bit nusinence!!
    why is this happening??

    Read a similiar post recently but cannot remember cause of problem. Can't even remember if it
    was a Kryptvu or Starvu box. Do you sometimes dis-connect LAN-cable from box to router. Do you
    power-off box or put in stand-by when not in use. Does box lose channel list or are channels
    still listed but scrambled.Post back details & we will resolve issue. First do the basics;
    Do a s/w update in menu on box. Fac.reset before you scan. Make sure you use correct Prov &
    NET-ID when scanning. If problem occurs again re-boot router and box

    If problem persists may be broadband issue. Try resetting network card.
    (Windows XP)On PC click on;
    START-CONNECTIONS-ALL-select LAN or WIRELESS
    Right-click-DISABLE-wait 60 secs.-ENABLE-wait until shows connected

    this has hapened to me several times, i can getthe channels back by doing what you have said , thats not the issue . when i lose all channels i do try reboot router check connections do all the basics, but if i turn the kv box off it comes back to the menue box and i can't even flick through the channels unless i go reset and rescan.. what is going onhelp!!!

    your cable feed is not strong enough to hold the channels when you put your box on standby at night that is why they are not there in the morning quick fix

    Menu ....... System Settings ......... Other Settings ....... Turn Power Search mode OFF

    see does that help you in any way

    i never put my box on standby at night, also i have turned power search off

    has to be a cable issue as said do you have a sub from your provider if not could be your signal is not strong enough to hold the channels or too many splits on your incoming cable feed

    if you go to the a channel press the info button and post your signal and quality levels

    also be aware you do need at least 75/80% if to high you will get same results

    Just to clarify; You never disconnect LAN-cable from box & you never power-off box.
    Box then loses channels in normal use when powered-on. As said post back with signal levels

    Boxing is going to be on boxing is on Sky events channel and its fully N3 now and only on kryptview box

    Anyone else having starview 7 issues. My picture keeps freezing and sometimes I have to pull the plug on the box and other times it comes back after maybe 10 secs. Very annoying when trying to watch the footy yesterday

    you will have to put up with that happening as its using internet now as well as your cable feed so 10 sec is not bad

    jeez :( thanks for the speedy reply. It's been fine for a while and started in the last week or so. Hopefully it will be quite rare as it was pretty much unwatchable

    yep that can happen check your cable connections are tight and make sure you are not downloading torents as they rob all the band width on your net.

    MOJO, if you have reset NETWORK CARD, router connection should be OK. Your signal is nearly 80.
    All channels are clearing fine except every few days you have to power off box & when you
    re-boot box all channs. have gone & you have to rescan. So now deal with the box.
    MENU-SETTINGS-S/W UPDATE-click on this & it will either update or tell you it's up to date.
    Do a FACTORY RESET on box & power-off for 2 mins.Power on box & AUTO-SCAN on correct NET-ID
    If problem re-occurs don't turn off box, first go to MENU-EXTRA FEATURES-select weather/traffic
    info. If weather/traffic info shows any data that means box is still connected to internet.
