Someone in the past said I was a spy. It's plain to see if you read between the lines where the interests are coming from and the truth of the matter is that everyone has a price.

I not a spy or a person who has a vested interest at all but an over the hill observer who like everyone else likes to get value for money which can be difficult at the best of times.

Happy Christmas to all on both sides of the pond!

    LOL

AWFAWKITT I must dive into the sack in case the golf club will be open in the morning nite all!

As a betting man I said before that it was odds on that you would not depart the forums Finto.

Do you think it odds on that Australia will win the Ashes ?

Why can't I get sky sports in the morning, turn on to see the cricket (for what it is worth) but no signal, SS comes on later, do I need to do a rescan?

    Cheers

Need to give more detail, what box are you using, is latest firmware on the box, etc.

I thought I would say for everyones benefit. I have had a Kryptview for aprox' 4-5 months, and in that time I have never had to do a reset, rescan, reboot or anything else that starts with a re. On occasions ( very rarely ) I may lose a channel for a short time. I dont panic, I take a deep breath, I sit back, and in time my patience is rewarded.....the channel comes back. The longest loss I ever had, was Racing UK, that went for a week. I did not however rescan to get it back.
My message for you all is- If you are constantly rescanning to retrieve channels then there must be something wrong with your kryptview box, or the way you have it setup.A reset, rescan, reboot, or anything else that starts with a re.....is not your answer.
    Hope this helps.

OK fair enough, you are probably correct would just like to catch up with the cricket when I get up but this seems to be the only time it is a problem.

The title of this thread is Kryptview Starview so unless you specify which box you have how
is any one going to help you. Also have a look at syst.info in menu to see what firmware is
on the box. It would help if you posted which Net.ID you used when scanning,Prov.name & your
general location. Are all pay channels scrambled in the mornings or only SS 1.

Go into MENU--SETTINGS--S/W UPDATE. Click on it, it will either update or tell you it's
already up to date. If all channels are clearing & in correct order you probably have used
correct NET-ID. If not choose another ID close to your area & fac. reset then auto-scan.If you
have prov.box look in menu & it will show correct NET-ID.
Do you power-off box or router at night, this may cause delay in morning connecting box to net.
As asked already are all channs. scrambled or only SS
