hi Ive got kryptview a780, the box already had the firmware and had lost most channels, after doing a search it has now frozen and the remote wont work (remote wasnt brilliant anyway).
How do you get the remote to work (batteries new) and update box again.

very, very new to the Kryptview box.
    cheers

check operation of remote with a mobile phone with camera as it picks up the signal when a button is pressed,kv remotes on sale ebay.
now depending on box with the freezing issue if box is old could be internal capacitor leaking or bulging.

    Hi Cactikid ,
thanks for replying, I have tried the remote with mobile phone and its not reacting, the box is supposed to be new, bought off ebay and was advised it was new but had a scratch and the ethernet tab was removed, been scanned for channels in another location in England and the supplier said this was standard??
    What do you think?
    Thanks

only new boxes have the tab across the lan at the back,if it was removed and firmware loaded to box and channels scanned was it fta firmware or did you have to update box.
new boxes are sold as fta no updated firmware and i think no channels scanned, question is did someone else have the box and not worked for them in that area and sent back.
