    Hi all,

So after updating my EV with Kuro beta 2 software in the hope that my signal problems will have ceased, I find that I am still having the same signal problem. Every 3 minutes or so, the "no signal" screen appears. If I press the "info" button on the remote while the "no signal" box is on screen, I can see that the signal is fluctuating between 80%-88%. The box usually gives a picture when its signal is at a constant 82 or 83 percent.

I even tried turning on the signal booster option but to no avail.

So I dont know what to do now. Anybody any ideas?

    Thanks, Dan.

Had you got Kuro Beta 1 previous to updating?

Try reverting back to Kuro Beta 1 which is dated the 15th of October, you will find this in Eamos FTA Library at the bottom of my post.

I presume you had no such problems with the September update you had previously?

oh i did. i had this problem before. remember?..i was talking to you in this forum about it. you suggested that i might try updating my firmware to kuro beta 2. It didnt make the box any worse, its just that the same problem exists.

Sounds like a cabling problem then have you tried an attenuator as your signal may in fact be too strong. Go to menu, installation, user installation. You will see a list of frequencies there, just tell me what is the average signal level/quality for your TPs.
