factory reset/rescan as ch5 has moved tp.
a few different places say glitching also.

 

done rescan and got channel 5 back

 

anybody that has glitching on kv,check to see if anybody is using pc etc downloading or running torrents as that will give you glitching.

 

Will the new f1 channel be working on the a780?

 

yes i think so,channel 516 just a message up at the moment saying it will be launched on the 9th march

 

thought it was a sky HD customers only, or is it just free for sky HD customers.

 

Virgin Media has agreed a deal with Sky to offer the forthcoming Sky Sports Formula One channel to its cable TV subscribers in March, but not in high definition.

Sky Sports F1, the satellite broadcaster's first TV channel dedicated to just one sport, will offer live coverage of all the Grand Prix race events from 2012 to 2018 under Sky's controversial new joint F1 rights deal with the BBC.

Alongside launching on Sky in March, the new channel will also be offered on Virgin Media's cable TV platform in the Sky Sports package, alongside Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2, Sky Sports 3 and Sky Sports 4.

Virgin Media's subscribers to this package will have the channel added automatically at launch. However, Virgin will not be able to offer the high definition version of Sky Sports F1, as that will stay exclusive to Sky.

 

I have got nothing at all in the merseyside area except fta. Anyone else got same problem? Internet is fine so don't know what it could be

 

all my channels are working here in glasgow , turn the box of at the back then reboot router then the box and see if that works.

i just done a s/w update and it said( already updated) so its still the same 29/11/2011

 

Just done s/w update in berkshire nd it updated did a factory reset,rescan nd gt all channels back.had lost em all apart from fta.repect to krypt boys.

 

what is the date on the firmware.

 

29.11.11 pv4.1.00. lookin at the thread this has been around for a while.always check on here nd the box regulary today is the first time its been available down here.

 

yes it does appear the upgrade was missed by a number of people when it came out and now they were forced to do it and that is why posting your firmware date on box helps out others who have problems,reset and rescan from main feed,same rules apply.
