    Hi all again another update just done a factory reset and there is now a new tp for my area all channels now working whoo hoo!!!! Keep up the good work kv 2 years I've had my box and still going strong:)

    it is vm doing adjustment and was it not a new net id you got?a new tp is only channels m8

    Cact- Is that why my vm box froze last night watching the England game?

    I switched to the kv, then switched back to vm after the game and it was still frozen.

    Turned it off/on and it sorted it.

    anybody got any ideas, my ss1 has been bad for nearly 3 weeks now, i have done rescan, i have deleted just ss1 and rescanned i have done the rescan from direct feed (no router or modem) and still the same. at my wits end now, and sundays my main day for footy and nearly always on ss1 :( i have phone basic tv and bb sub.

    Have you tried factory reset, then software update, then a rescan i had the same issues last week and this seemed to do the trick!!

    software already updated and done all above. and its only ss1

    Where did you get your Net Id from that you are using ?

    think you have just clicked my thick skull into gear e45 havn't used vm box for a while so will try new net id.

    That is the only place you can get the correct Net Id for your box as its 100% fool proof, let us know if you get sorted.

    i switched on vm box and got id but im getting invalid card, but can still access guide> settings> tech the id is 10 can anyone confirm its the correct id for teeside.
    i connected other box back up, factory reset, scan, net id was 10 and ss1 works.
    why am i getting invalid card in vm is it because not used in a while and needs resetting by vm ?

    Because you left your box switched off for so long, on the virgin boxes they have a talk back function so virgin know when your box is on or not, since your box was not active they have switched off the card so you will have to explain why to them so they will switch it back on, you could say you where away working or some other excuse.

    Have trouble with my box, i have the easy installation page up and cant get it off, please advise. Friend has bought his box round and his works all ok.

    Your box needs to be scanned thats all, or try a new flash on the box.

    Will try next time regards Scanned or New flash, you mean scan for channels tried that earlier an all i got was 'already exist' on all telewest,chorus, nnttl etc no joy. How do i flash.....for future ref....not the first time i have had this prob, getting rid of this 'easy installation' page?

    Hi all again, I have 2 boxes in my household, but last few days box downstairs i have lost ssp1 & 3, ssp1 flicked back on yest for bout 5 mins then 'no or bad signal' has come up, box upstairs is working all ok. Recently when i was on here i 'transferred data' to other box when i was having problems previously.....now out of the 2 boxes i do not know which one is which in i dont know which one i transfered data to/from, so any easy 1-2-3 a-b-c info to put right?

    check what firmware is on boxes,maybe you missed some s/w online updates and a factory reset/rescan from main feed,choose your correct net id.

    is it just my area, lost ss2 last night, last 5 mins of footy :(.
    put it on this morning very glitchy then all gone.

    all up to date fw/updates, correct net id etc.
    just asking to see if local or national.
