Does anybody else get errors while trying to compress using the Lame Mpeg Codec? My Virtualdub simply won't compress with Lame while other codecs work.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem, or know of a second-best compression method?

I've had problems with Lame ACM codecs in Windows 2000. The easiest solution is to compress the audio to MP3 format with WAV headers using CDEx, and then multiplexing it with the video stream using Virtualdub.
