laptop help upgrade

    i have a dell 600m its a

    celeron M ~ 1.4 ghz
    1gb (2x512mb) pc 2700
    40gb 5,400 rpm
    ati 9000
    14 lcd
    anyways the rest dont matter

    i need help upgrading a this laptop.... i'm looking for a harddrive i was wondering which one is better i found some harddrive that is 7,200 rpm with 8mb buffer cache and theres one 5,400 rpm with 16mb buffer cache i would get but i dnot know which one is faster for gaming and burning. did 7,200 rpm with 16mb buffer cache came out already or coming out?

    Its already out, but you wont notice the difference between a 8mb cache and 16mb cache drive, so just get the 7200rpm.

    so your saying 7,200 RPM 16mb cache is out already you got link ?? I want to buy it and I'm looking for 100gb and up under 200 dollar

    Sorry, i forgot that you are using a laptop, i dont know if 16MB cache for the laptop is out, but what i meant to say was even if it was out, it wouldnt make a noticable difference to the reading speed, i meant just get the 7200rpm 8mb cache drive. That should do perfect.
