Hello, i didn't know if i should have placed this in the PC hardware thread or not but what ever.

I have an old ENpower N30N3 and it needs a new LCD, i think the LCD is a 14.1TFT LCD and i wanted to know if it mattered the manufacture of the LCD or if i could just get any 14.1 TFT LCD to put into the laptop.

find out who actually made the original lcd screen as unlikely ENpower made the screen but just assembled the pieces together for the laptop. moved to correct forum

I know who made the laptop, but i dont feel like spending 200+ on a mint new LCD, i want to just get some LCD someone pulled out of a laptop on ebay for 20 bucks. And i was wondering if it mattered who made it or if for example if i had a sony laptop with a panasonic made LCD, if i would put in a samsung one.
